Record 8L cusecs of water released from Sonna barrage into Bhima river; villages inundated

A record of 8 lakh cusecs of water was released from Sonna barrage of Afzalpur taluk into the Bhima river in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka.

Over 150 villages are now facing flood threat.

Some villages have already been inundated due to water.
