A retired sub-inspector of police died in a road accident in Mysuru.
Venkata Ramana Shetty (69) died on the spot after a two-wheeler hit him from behind at Tathaiah Circle.
The bike rider also sustained injuries and has been hospitalised.
K R Traffic Police are investigating the case.
