Revanna tells ACS to look into bribe allegation

Following DH’s report highlighting the rot in his department, Public Works Department (PWD) Minister H D Revanna on Tuesday said that he had directed the Additional Chief Secretary to look into the issue raised by IAS officer and DPAR joint secretary, Pallavi Akurathi.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Revanna, however, said that the drain works does not come under his department’s purview. “Drain work is carried out by the BBMP,” he added.

Akurathi has complained that an engineer from PWD did not take up repairs in her residential quarters despite directions from the highest authorities.
