Bellad told reporters here, "Despite several pleas by the BJP, the speaker has refused to revoke the suspension of our MLAs. If he refuses to heed our request, we will hold a demonstration protesting his decision, during the speakers' conference.”

The Supreme Court had termed the suspension of MLAs for one year by the Maharashtra Assembly speaker as 'illogical and irrational,' he reminded Khader.

“Now, Khader has suspended 18 of our party MLAs for six months. A speaker can only suspend MLAs till the end of an ongoing session,” he added.
