After continuous rainfall on Wednesday, the water-level of river Cauvery at Dubare went up by 4 feet. Due to this, the private boat service which was available here has been stopped. The water is reaching the danger level here and lack of mechanised boats has started isolating the tribals because they are finding it difficult to cross the river.

Tribal leader J P Raju has demanded the district administration to provide mechanised boats in Dubare region for the tribals to commute out of Dubare. However, the force with which river Cauvery is flowing at Dubare has certainly doubled the joy of river rafters.
