The rogue elephant that killed three people in December 2020, at Berambadi in Pandalur taluk, Nilgiri district, Tamil Nadu, was captured at Mudumali Tiger Reserve, on Friday.

It may be mentioned that the elephant had killed three people, including a father and son. After the locals stageda protest demanding the Forest department to capture the jumbo, they took out a combing operation and was successful in capturing it on Friday, with the help of dart experts and veterinarians.
