The Bishop was speaking after inaugurating the Rosario College of Management Studies at Rosario Cultural Hall.
“Catholic institutions have pioneered in education in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod districts and the Catholic Board will strive hard to fulfil the needs of its students,” the Bishop said.
“Our education has three pronged approach, that is, God oriented, people oriented and student oriented,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar Neermarga, the chief guest of the function and the Deputy Registrar of the Mangalore University, said that the Rosario College of Management Studies will be a new feather to the crown of Mangalore University.
“Catholic institution that has been offering disciplined students to the society has come up with a new management school which is a matter of pride to the Mangalorer University,” Prabhakar said.
Catholic Board of Education Secretary Rev Fr Wilson V D’Souza, Rosario Pre University College Principal Fr Alwin Serrao, Rosario Institutions Correspondent Rev Fr Stany Goveas and others were present on the occasion.
