Shivamogga: The Tiger and Lion Safari-cum-Zoo in Tyavarekoppa near Shivamogga city is all set to become a new home for a pair of lion cubs from Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
Sources in the safari-cum-zoo, confirmed that a lion and a lioness, around two years old, would be brought from Kamala Nehru Prani Sangrahalay or Indore Zoo under the animal-exchange programme.
Similarly, four Indian Gaurs will be sent to Indore from the zoo. Central Zoo Authority of India has approved the exchange.
