Karnataka Sahitya Academy chairman Prof M H Krishnaiah presented the honorary award for the year 2010 Kotiganahalli Ramaiah at the Aadima Samskruthika Sanghatane premises in Kolar on Friday.
Theatre activist Ramaiah was not well and he could not participate in the award ceremony organised at Shimogga on June 29.
Academy registrar V N Mallikarjuna Swami and Rudresh B Adarangi and were present.
