Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was forced to get out of his car and accept a petition from little school children when he left for work this morning.

School children and staff of the Allaghatta government high school in Chitradurga taluk were waiting in front of the CM's JP Nagar residence to submit a petition opposing the government's move to relocate the school.

When the CM emerged from his residence heading towards Vidhana Soudha in his official car, the children mobbed his car shouting "CM Sir, CM Sir, please talk to us".

"Please give me one week's time," he requested the children.

The CM also took officials to task saying; "Have you not bothered to resolve the problems of these children? Mind the work you do. If I keep meeting people with complaints when will I run my administration?".
