The seer is in a critical condition ever since he returned from a Chennai hospital after undergoing liver bypass surgery and removal of the gall bladder.

On Wednesday, there was some fluctuation in his blood pressure which was taken care of by the doctors of the mutt. The pontiff is on the ventilator and does not talk much. He is able to see and obliges those who visit him.

Many political leaders who are close to the seer are expected to visit the seer to check on his health.
