DDPI Prasanna Kumar said that it is the duty of teachers to preserve Bharat Seva Dal, which was established with the motto of serving the nation.
Inaugurating the Milap camp organised by Bharat Seva Dal at Government Higher Primary School in Azad Park circle on Tuesday, he said that Seva Dal develops patriotism and the mentality of service among students. He suggested launching Seva Dal units in all schools.
Seva Dal B H Narendra Pai said that the children should be taught moral values.
Retired physical education teacher Shadakshari was felicitated on the occasion.
Seva Dal district unit coordinator Chandrakanth and School headmistress B R Geetha were present among others.
