Shiroor Mutt movable assets given to Sode seer

The Udupi police handed over movable assets of Shiroor original Mutt and Shiroor Mutt in Udupi to Dwandwa Sode Mutt seer Vishwavallabha Theertha Swami on Wednesday evening.

The assets, including valuable gold ornaments, puja materials and silver ornaments were shifted by the police from the original Mutt in Shiroor to the Udupi Shiroor Mutt. Later, the mahajar was conducted in the presence of the police. The valuables were kept in the locker of the Shiroor Mutt in Udupi.

As no successor is yet appointed to the Shiroor Mutt, Dwandwa Sode Mutt will look into the administration of the Mutt till a successor is appointed.
