The police will hand over the Shiroor Mutt in Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt to the Dwandwa Sode Mutt on Monday, said a press release.
Mutt deewan Srinivas Tantri said that the original Shiroor Mutt too will be handed over to Sode Mutt. Once the handing over is complete, the Aaradhane of the late Shiroor seer Lakshmivara Theertha Swami will be held.
After the death of Lakshmivara Theertha Swami, both Shiroor Mutts were in the custody of the police.
