Addressing a news conference, the Union Minister went after Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, accusing him of mining and transporting iron ore in the name of soil.

"Shivakumar has said he has no relation with Bellary. When he was a Urban Development minister in S M Krishna's cabinet, he was involved in mining. I have all the documents regarding his iron ore transportation, and I will release them soon," he stated.

Declaring a war against Congress government in the state, Kumaraswamy said, "I would like to question Shivakumar, where have thousands of tonnes of iron ore which was transported in the name of soil gone? I have all the documents, including the letter communication between Shivakumar and a few officials and also the names of the companies in which he did business. Shivakumar is unnecessarily doing vengeance politics against me and my family. When this is the case, how can I sit quietly?. From today I am declaring a war against the Congress government. I will dedicate two days in a week for that."

Talking about allegations leveled against him of encroaching a land at Kethaganahalli in Bidadi, Kumaraswamy said, "Even this is part of Congress leaders' vengeance politics against me."

"I am a son of a former Prime Minister, I myself was a Chief Minister twice. Was it necessary for me to encroach four acres of land? Let them release documents and prove their allegation of encroachment against me," he challenged.

He further compared the Congress leaders to Mohammad Ghazni, Mohammad Ghori and Malik Kafur and said, "Irregularities by this government have been increased. I will expose their looting one by one soon."

During the news conference, Kumaraswamy released the notice issued to his neighbour in Kethaganahalli by Ramanagra Superintendent of Police to attend the inquiry with all the original land documents, and questioned, "Who has given the powers for police to verify revenue documents?".

Meanwhile, Kumaraswamy advised BJP leaders to identify the technical mistakes of Congress and also clarified that there is no difference between the alliance partners. "Our leaders have expressed their opinion about the need for a co-ordination committee. I will discuss this with the BJP leaders. But that doesn't mean there is a difference in alliance," he mentioned.

Kumaraswamy requested the people to give him one more chance to come to power and said, "I request the people, especially the people of Bengaluru to give us one more chance. I personally visit every household and select leaders. I will make the public understand the current situation of the city in poor administration by Congress and request them to give us a chance to correct them."
