Rebel Congress MLA MTB Nagaraj released a video from Mumbai on Friday expressing 'shock' at senior leader Ramalinga Reddy's decision to withdraw his resignation.

Nagaraj is among the 15 rebel legislators who have resigned from the government and holed up at a hotel in Mumbai.

In the video, the Hosakote MLA said that rebel MLAs had held 3-4 meetings under his (Ramalinga Reddy) leadership. "In these meetings, he was vocal about the injustice meted out to senior Congress leaders in the coalition government and had decided to resign," Nagaraj said.

"Ramalinga Reddy is a senior leader in the Congress and a good friend of mine. But, his press statement yesterday (withdrawing his resignation) came as a shock for all the 13 MLAs," he said.

Reddy had agreed to support the government after multiple rounds of talks by senior leaders of the coalition.
