At a State-level convention organised on Tuesday, KKNSS, the umbrella organisation of urban poor communities, also demanded a State Litigation Policy on the lines of National Litigation Policy.
A memorandum will be submitted to the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa demanding him to provide absolute sale deeds to the slum communities in all the districts of the state.
Other demands include implementing the transferable development rights (TDR) for the private land owners so that re-housing programmes for the urban poor communities can be implemented in a majority of slums in the state.
