The minister told reporters in Bellary that he had been receiving life threats from naxals from Andhra Pradesh. However, back home, Home Minister R Ashoka said he was not aware of Sreeramulu’s request.
He said even he had come to know about it only through media reports and that he would consider enhanced security cover for his colleague if the chief minister forwarded Sreeramulu’s request letter to him.
