Bailhongal (Belagavi): A student from Government High School at Devlapur is among the state toppers, with her scoring 100 per cent marks in the SSLC examination results announced on Friday.
Roopa Channagouda Patil scored 625 marks of 625 marks.
The overall pass percentage this year including repeaters and private candidates, is 62.34 as against 53 per cent last year. As many as 22 students secured 625 out of 625.
Releasing the results, the minister for School Education and Literacy, Madhu Bangarappa, said, "last year two students secured 625, that number has been increased to 22 this year and it included two students from government schools."
Dakshina Kannada district topped the state with 91.12 per cent in Regular Fresh students results followed by Udupi with 89.96 per cent, Uttara Kannada with 83.19 per cent and Shivamogga stood 4th with 82.29 per cent.
