Bengaluru: The rank and file of the state Police on Thursday lauded the services of IPS officer Malini Krishnamoorthy, who retired as the DGP (Prisons & Correctional Services) on Thursday.

Dr M A Saleem, DG&IGP, praised Malini’s 35 years of distinguished service, highlighting key moments of her career. Senior officers, including Umesh Kumar, ADGP, KSRP, and Sandeep Patil, IGP, KSRP, thanked Malini for her leadership and mentorship roles in the force.

In her farewell speech, Malini reflected on her journey in the force, expressing both pride and emotion as she bid goodbye. The officer thanked her colleagues and spoke about the opportunities the department gave her.

The event was attended by senior officers from all ranks, marking a fitting send-off for a respected and trailblazing officer.

The farewell took place at the 3rd Battalion KSRP Parade Ground in Koramangala.
