Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of the ‘Namma Grama Namma Raste’ programme on Friday, he told the tahasildar that the roads were narrow and needs to be widened. The opposition leader said that the villages of Hosahundi, Gadamadanahalli, Yeligehundi and Uttanahalli have been taken under MUDA, and the roads and drainage would be developed.
He also said that he would try to urge the government to provide sites and a site for a graveyard for the village. He warned the officials that the roads have to be constructed without negligence and they would be held responsible for the work. MP H Vishwanath, MLA M Sathyanarayana, Zilla Panchayat former president K Marigowda, Zilla Panchayat members Patil Javaregowda, Leader Rakesh Siddaramiaiah and others were present.
