Speaking to media on the sidelines of a programme organised at Central Prisons Mysuru, George said, “I held a primary round of talks with the Home minister of Kerala after the reported sighting of Naxals at H D Kote forest on the border of Karnataka and Kerala states recently. The officials of both the States also exchanged information on the issue. Another round of talks will be held shortly”.

Reacting to a question, the minister said: “The anti-Naxal Force has adequate staffed and is prepared to tackle any challenges.”

On the terrorist activities reported from Dharwad, George said, the police officials were looking into it and further information on it was awaited.

To a query on ‘Kiss of Love’, the minister said, any protests within the ambit of law and also the culture of the land was welcome. Otherwise, the police authorities will initiate action and the government will not interfere. Moreover, the government will not tolerate any type of moral policing, said George.
