The second edition of the state-level tennis ball cricket tournament will be organised by Morning Cricketers, at the Government Primary School ground on February 27 and 28.
Addressing reporters here on Tuesday, Morning Cricketers president H R Venkatesh said that the winners will bag Rs 50,000 cash prize, along with a trophy and the runners-up
will be awarded Rs 25,000 cash prize and a trophy.
There will be individual prizes as well, he said.
Stating that 20 teams have already enrolled for the tournament, association treasurer Shivaraj said that 10 more teams may participate.
The inaugural match will be held between the police team and the journalists’ team.
Association vice president Pradeep Kumar, secretary Chandan and joint secretary Riju Basappa were present.
