Confirming this, Kuvempu University Vice-Chancellor Sharath Ananthamurthy told DH that the registrar (Evaluation) has admitted the flaws in the question paper. Though the title of the question paper-13 is correct, the questions are not related to the syllabus. He also made it clear that the questions are irrelevant and not repetition of the question paper-11, the examination, which had already been conducted.

He also stated that the university would issue a notice to the syndicate member who is also the principal of a college affiliated to the university for their apathy in this regard. The new date of the examination would be announced soon.

Government First Grade College Principal Channesh told DH that students were in a shock when they were issued question paper around 8:50 am as the questions were repeated from the previous examination. When the issue was brought to the authorities concerned, they accepted the flaw and postponed the examination.

It may be mentioned here that the examination was for 60 marks and it was expected to be held from 8:50 am to 11:00 am.
