Bengaluru: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has fixed a fee of Rs 1,600 for corrections in the names of students and parents, date of birth and other details in the second PUC marks cards.

Stakeholders, including parents and students, have opposed this move.

According to the students, the error was introduced by the Board or by the college in most cases and why do they have to pay for corrections?

Raising objections, the All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) said, "Fixing a high fee for correction of marks cards is a daylight robbery. The Board must withdraw the fee fixed for corrections," the organisation said in a press release.
