Jabbar alleged that Bhat dragged him out of a bus he was travelling in over a trivial issue. Jabbar, who has got himself admitted into Mangala Hospital in the city, has requested the higher authorities in the department, to ensure justice for him.
When contacted, Superintendent of Police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao said that he is awaiting a report in this regard and added that action will be initiated against the guilty.
