Addressing an awareness programme on Co-ordinated Education jointly organised by the SSA and Somavarpet Block Resource Centre for School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC) members at Kanive Higher Primary School near Kushalnagar, Ramesh said that the role SDMC members and teachers is crucial in bringing special children to the mainstream of the society.  Thorenooru Government Composite High School Headmaster B V Ratnakar said that special children should be given opportunities to develop themselves.

Awareness should be created in society for the implementation government                        schemes for special children, he added.

Co-ordinated Education resource persons T V Shaila and T G Chandrashekar delivered keynote address. School Headmaster T G Padmanabha, Education Co-ordinator K R Rani and teacher M S Ganesh were present.
