Sohail (32), a native of Kumta town, Sajid(36), a native of Kerala died on the spot, while Abhijith (26) succumbed to injuries at the Government hospital in Sagar.
Injured
Fellow passengers Dr Lakshminarayan, Chandrashekhara Naik and Shivappa from Uttara Kannada district were seriously injured. They were returning to Kumta after visiting Mysore.
