Briefing the media at Chamarajpet, State president of the Council, S K Vivekananda, warned, “the Council will inform the EC and the Police about any illegal activities indulged in by any candidate.”
It has also started a helpline 080-32989007. “Public can inform us if they hear of any malpractices,” he added.
It will also conduct a campaign to sensitise private concerns to declare paid holiday for their employees on the day.
