The examinations will be held at five centres in the district, namely, Government Pre University College and its high school section, Panchagiri High School, Sri M Visveswaraya High School and St Joseph’s School from 9 am to 5 pm. Candidates can mark the answers with either blue or black ball point pens only.
Prohibitory orders
Prohibitory orders have been clamped under Section 144 CrPC declaring the area in a radius of 200 meters around the examination centres as prohibited area. Identity cards have been issued to examination staff. Stringent measures have been initiated to ensure free and fair examination. Use of cellphones has been strictly banned in the examination halls and the xerox centres in the vicinity have been directed to down the shutters, according to an official release.
