Temples damaged during floods to be reopened

The Chowdiyamma temple and Guligappa temple in Kallukore, which were damaged during the natural calamity, have been renovated and will be reopened on January 27, Hindu Jagarana Vedike District President Mevada G Ayyanna said.

The temples were restored in four months with help from Parivarthana Trust, Bengaluru. A procession will be taken out from Kallukore temple on Garvele road on Sunday at 10.30 am, with a public function at SJM School Grounds in Madapura at 11.30 am, he said.
