Mandya: MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal predicted that there could be a 'November Revolution' in the BJP and Congress parties. While there is dissatisfaction over not getting money for development in the Congress, the need for a leadership change is in the BJP, he said.

Speaking to reporters in Mandya, on Sunday, he said, “It was the BJP, which expelled me and not the people. My intention is not to divide the votes of Hindus. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had projected that BJP will sink if ‘one family’ is not there. Some BJP leaders too conveyed the same to the high command. However, the situation has changed after the Ganesha festival”.

The people of the state want Yogi Adityanath style of government here. There is no connection between me and Yediyurappa’s family. Except a few BJP leaders, others are opposed to my expulsion. The organisation of Hindus is my goal. I will tour the state soon, he said.

Commenting on banning RSS, he said, Congress leaders Nehru and Indira Gandhi could not ban RSS. Priyank Kharge has been speaking against RSS to appease the Muslims. RSS will be till the sun and moon exists. CM’s son Yathindra Siddaramaiah and Hariprasad have been speaking like Pakistan agents, Yatnal alleged.

Continuing to criticise Congress, Yatnal said, “It will be suicidal if D K Shivakumar is brought to the BJP. There was a plan to bring Shivakumar to the BJP. The day I was expelled from the party, a senior leader called me and said, there are plans to make D K Shivakumar as the CM and Vijayendra as the DCM. They thought he would bring 90 MLAs. But, after knowing that only 15 MLAs were in favour of Shivakumar, they dropped the plan, he ridiculed.
