MLA from Molkalmur S Thippeswamy said on Saturday he would contest from any party, if given a chance. Otherwise, he would enter the fray as an independent, he said.
He was speaking to reporters after a meeting with his supporters at his residence at Neralagunte here.
Thippeswamy said MP Sriramulu and state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa had promised him the ticket from Molkalmur on several occasions. But now they had gone back on their words. The legislator vowed to defeat Sriramulu and send him back to Ballari, his native.
