Those involved in cow slaughter behaving as part of our govt: C T Ravi urges clarification over ban reinforcement

Chikkamagaluru: MLC C T Ravi urged the Karnataka government to clarify whether the cow slaughter ban is being enforced in the state.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday he alleged, "Those involved in illegal cattle transport and cow slaughter are behaving as if they are part of our government. This has led to the discovery of beef in the Netravati River. This situation is prevalent not only here but everywhere."

He further stated, "Dharmasthala is a religious site visited by millions of devotees. The intention to desecrate it reflects a malicious mindset and shows their fanaticism."
