Kalaburagi: Three persons were hacked to death by a group of miscreants in a dhaba near Pattan village situated on the outskirts of the city at 1:30 am on Wednesday. The deceased were employees of the dhaba.

The deceased have been identified as Siddaroodh (35), Jagadish (25), and Ramachandra (32). Miscreants had attacked them with the lethal weapons.

Police suspect old rivalry as the reason behind the tragic incident. Kalaburagi City Police Commissioner Sharanappa S D visited the spot.

A case has been registered at the Kalaburagi sub-urban police station.
