Belagavi: Three persons, including two women, were killed on the spot and three others suffered severe injuries in a collision between a car and truck near Siddapurwadi cross in Chikkodi taluk on the Chikkodi- Kagwad road in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased and injured hail from Sangli in Maharashtra.
The deceased are Kalpana Ajitkumar Koli (37), Mahadev Kanappa Koli (76), and Rukmini Mahadev Koli (60).
The injured are Ajitkumar Mahadev Koli (45), Aditya Ajitkumar Koli (17) and Anuja Ajitkumar Koli (13). All of them were in the car.
Police rushed the injured to the hospital.
Ankali Police are investigating.
