Three woman accidentally drown in lake while washing clothes in KarnatakaOn Monday afternoon,Chandana (18), Deeparani (27) and Divya (24) were washing their clothers when Chandana got into the lake to pick up the clothes that had fallen into the water and accidentally slipped and drowned.

Channagiri: Three women, who had gone to wash their clothes in Lakshmisagar village reportedly drowned in a lake after they accidentally slipped into it on Monday.
On Monday afternoon,Chandana (18), Deeparani (27) and Divya (24) were washing their clothers when Chandana got into the lake to pick up the clothes that had fallen into the water and accidentally slipped and drowned.
Deeparani and Divya got into the lake to save Chandana but drowned as well.
Police inspector KN Ravish visited the spot and with the cooperation of the villagers, retrieved the bodies of the women. A case has been registered at Channagiri police station.
