According to information reaching here, both the skeletons were found within a distance of 100 metres. A post mortem has revealed that the animals had died at least six months ago. A bullet mark was found on the skeleton of the tiger, indicating that it had been shot dead.
Project Tiger Director B J Hosmath confirmed the recovery of the two skeletons.
