The carcass of a 7-year-old male tiger was found in the backwaters of the Kabini dam on Wednesday morning.
The dead carnivore's carcass was found at N Belathuru village of H D Kote taluk, Mysuru district.
People from surrounding villages flocked to see the dead big cat when the news spread.
