Tigress found dead at Nagarahole

A carcass of a tigress was found at Nagarahole National Park in the taluk on Monday.

The carcass was found near Kunthuru Beat and the tiger is said to be around seven to nine years of age.

Nagarahole Tiger Project director Narayanaswamy has suspected that the tiger might have died due to territorial fight with another tiger. The post-mortem report says that the skull of the tiger was found broken, he said.
