According to a release issued by the Department here Transport Commissioner and Chairman of computerised service delivery systems (CSDS) Bhaskar Rao has constituted a committee to supervise full implementation of the Smart Card project.
“To brace up with the advent of technology and further implementation of the project, the Transport Department proposed to the Government of Karnataka to redesignate the post of joint commissioner transport (Vigilance and Air Pollution) as JCT Environment and e-Governance.
The Government of Karnataka has issued Order No 220 dated 21-04-2010 to redesignate JCT (Vigilance and Air Pollution) as JCT (Environment and e-Governance)” the release added.
