Acting on the directions of the SP, the team led by Tumakuru Rural Circle Inspector visited Delhi and brought the woman safely back home.

On questioning her, she revealed that two women Bhagyamma and Bhagya, were running a prostitution cum human trafficking racket.

The woman who was saved, told the police that Bhagyamma,  the accused, who belongs to Thumbadi village, Kasaba hobli, along with an accomplice, had promised the victim a job and taken her to Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh.

"There I was handed over to a person called Noor Jaan who talked to a prostitution racket kingpin in Delhi and sent us there. In Delhi, I was sold to a woman who runs a prostitution racket near the railway station," said the young victim.

Based on all this information, the Tumakuru police have arrested Bhagyamma in Arasur, Kalaburagi; Bhagya in Koratagere and Noor Jaan in Kadari village in Andhra Pradesh.
