Two engineers among three killed after car rear-ends lorryThe deceased have been identified as J Madanmohan (64), a retired engineer and a resident of Kuvempu Nagar in Mysuru, Laxminarayan Nagendra (62) a software engineer and a resident of Kalyan Nagar in Bengaluru, and Jayan Sureshan (64), the car driver from JP Nagar in Mysuru.

Dharwad: Three persons were killed on the spot when the car (Qualis) in which they were travelling hit a stationary lorry from behind near Bhadrapur in Annigeri taluk on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as J Madanmohan (64), a retired engineer and a resident of Kuvempu Nagar in Mysuru, Laxminarayan Nagendra (62) a software engineer and a resident of Kalyan Nagar in Bengaluru, and Jayan Sureshan (64), the car driver from JP Nagar in Mysuru.

The car heading towards Hubballi hit the lorry which was parked roadside, police said. Annigeri police have registered a case.
