Mysuru: The Forest department has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on two people for illegally entering the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, in Gundlupet taluk, Chamarajanagar district. They also took an undertaking from them.
Pallavi and Ghosh, from Bengaluru, are the duo who were penalised for illegal entry into Bandipur forest.
It is said that the duo entered the forest near Mangala, after stopping their car and were also involved in a photo shoot. The locals, who observed this, immediately alerted the Forest department.
ACF Naveen Kumar and team acted swiftly and summoned the duo who ventured into the forest to the office and imposed a fine of Rs 25,000. They were also warned against illegally entering the forest.
