The forest department officials have arrested two persons on the charges of poaching a deer.
The arrested are Theerthappa and Suresh. The officials seized meat of the deer weighing around 7.5 kg and vessels from the accused.
Acting on a tip-off, the forest department officials conducted a raid while deer meat is being cooked inside the farmhouse of Theerthappa.
