A mangled car that's beyond recognition after it hit a lorry killing two on the outskirts of Koratagere on Monday.

Koratagere: In a ghastly accident between a lorry and a car, two youths died on the spot in the wee hours of Monday near Kambadahalli, on the outskirts of Koratagere. The deceased are Praveen (20) and Harshit (24) of Holavanahalli village.
It is said that Praveen and Harshit along with another friend Harsha had gone to Goa for new year celebration. While returning, Harsha went to stay at his relative’s place in Sira, while the duo continued their journey.
It is suspected that they were speeding near Kambadahalli as they had to travel just 7 kms to reach their native, Holavanahalli and hit a lorry that was coming from opposite side. Lack of visibility due to thick fog and speeding could have caused the accident, it is said. Their mangled car is beyond recognition. While Praveen was studying in second year diploma, Harshit had just begun working in Bengaluru.
