He was taken off from the ventilator on Wednesday morning. Dr V K Srinivas, Cardiologist at the Mallya Hospital said he was also discontinued from intra-aortic ballooning pump (IBP) which was used to help in breathing to decrease workload on the heart.
“He is completely off all supports and is doing fine. He will be under medication for sometime and will be discharged in another couple of days,” he added.
