Addressing a press meet, he said revenue officials have not given permission for the work. However, the work is being carried out. A judicial probe should be ordered into the work, he demanded.
Stating that some of the officials are hand in glove with the contractors of Upper Bhadra project, he said “the government should drop the project which harms the farmers.”
He said the CM had issued a circular by including Sadara Lingayat community to 2A group. However, now by withdrawing the circular, he has insulted the community members. “The members from the communtiy who are part of the government and in the opposition should tender resignation,” he demanded.
