Veteran BJP leader Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala will be sworn in as the Governor of Karnataka on September 1.
Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court D H Waghela will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Vala at Raj Bhavan in Bangalore.
The function will be held at 5 pm, according to an official press release. Vala will be the 17th Governor of the State.
