Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) and other Hindu organisations have called  for a protest and road block in Mangaluru city on Friday morning demanding a ban on two political outfits Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).  

VHP leader Gopal said the protest will begin at 11 am on Friday with a road block. The objective of the protest is to condemn the murder of Hindu activist Deepak Rao in Mangaluru on Wednesday.  

Meanwhile, when reports last came in, Hindu outfits have taken Deepak Rao's body out in a procession in the city, beginning at Ganesh Katte, till the Hindu crematorium.
